Applications include: sheeting, woven upholstery, dress and apparel, fabrics, worsteds and tweeds, lingerie fabrics, velvets and damask.

The inclined inspection panel may include UV lights for fabric assessment and the overhead light is usually artificial daylight or Northern Light.

The system includes precise edge guidance control to ensure an accurate straight sided final package. Measuring counters may include optional ticket printing. The Varispeed drive requires only a single phase mains connection and speed adjustment throughout the range is by panel mounted thyristor, 0-45 metres per minute.

We have introduced a tension free system for stretch and elastomeric fabrics in widths up to 2.5m. A precision overfeed system ensures even the most sensitive fabrics can be wound tension free. Faults may be spotted and tagged, thus avoiding or highlighting potential difficulties in subsequent spreading and cutting operations.
