The machines
are versatile and satisfy the needs of a pattern room producing a full range of
presentations.
Machine
Selection
Maximum presentation size, print and pattern repeat dictate the width
of cutting blade required. The volumes required and type of sample may indicate
the desirability of selecting equipment with an indexing feed arrangement for
repetitive cutting of tabs, pattern cards and bunches, cascades and waterfalls.
A cut line indicator illuminates the precise point at which the knife parts the
fabric. This feature ensures minimum fabric wastage and assists the operator in
lining up a design, particularly checks and geometrics, or centering up a
specific part of a design or repeat.

Equipment
We supply a complete range of cloth drills for presentation and
sample assembly. We advise upon the selection of stapling, glueing and taping,
stitching equipment, case assembly systems and labelling machinery.
We offer Checkroll and Checkmaster systems for fabric
inspection, measuring and cut length service with a range of custom designed
cutting tables, end cutters and straight knives for fabric laying up, collating
and blocking out.
Cappa Sample Preparation
The Cappa range is extended by the introduction of two user friendly
and versatile sample cutters designed to meet the needs of all modern fabrics
supported by the Mercury Cloth Drill for header and presentation
assembly.
Cappa Conquest 51

A robust production machine with installed power 1.5HP (1.1KW), wired
three phase or available with inverter for single phase operation.
Front and rear tables each 550mm long. Blade width 51cms and cutting
depth up to 60mm, dependent on fabric.
Operator safety provides two simple double acting push buttons, no
lifting of machine bed.
The unit is free standing and mounted on casters for ease of
mobility.
An adjustable knife holder and two material clamps are
included.
The pattern size is measured by a graduated scale in centimetre
increments.
The feed and pattern rotation are manual.
Machines are delivered with 6 cutting boards.
